My  Story

From an early age, I had a passion for theatre, art and design. Encouraged by my college theatre professor, my interest and skills in stage lighting grew, and eventually led to a career in lighting for film and motion pictures. In 1994, I branched out from my lighting career in film to  architectural lighting design, and established my own lighting practice based in Stonington, CT where I have resided for my lifetime.

In the following years, I have completed many projects locally and nationally, including high end residences, restaurants, galleries, retail, and houses of worship. Notable projects include St. Luke’s Cathedral in Portland, ME, Hygienic Arts Park, New London, CT, and the La Grua Center in Stonington, CT.

Experienced in working with individual clients for custom design as well as developer-lead projects, I bring creativity and capability to deliver projects that exceed design expectations and meet the financial plan of my clients.

My technical skills enable me to complete each design challenge from conception to final installation; resulting in projects representing a broad range of scale, scope, and budget consideration. I design each project to a high standard balancing aesthetic expectations and energy efficiency due to the important role energy consumption and cost plays in an overall building life cycle. My vision is focused on collaboration with clients, architects, designers, and engineers from the onset of a project integrating the lighting seamlessly with the architecture.
